1. Top of the Rock
The New York's best viewpoint, overlooking the Empire State Building and Central Park make it a essential visit of New York. We recommend going an hour before sunset to get the best photos of New York both day and night.
And as normally the traveler who climbs to the top of the Rock also does it to the Empire State, we will tell you that if you have the New York CityPASS you can enter twice at no additional cost, once during the day and once at sunset. A very important point to keep in mind if you feel like enjoying a couple of times of another of the best views of New York.

2. Manhattan Bridge from Front Street
This is one of the photos we had marked in our planning as one of the best photos of New York. If you want to enjoy this perspective of the Manhattan Bridge between red brick buildings, with the Empire State under the bridge, you have to go to Front Street in the Brooklyn neighborhood. 3. Brooklyn Bridge

4. Brooklyn Heights Promenade Park
The Brooklyn Heights Promenade Park along with Dumbo offers some of the most amazing views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. We recommend you to be in the area late in the afternoon to be able to enjoy both the last minutes of the sun of the day, and the first lights of the night on the Big Apple.
5. Flatiron Building
The Flatiron Building is one of the New York icons and one of the most photographed buildings in the city. To take a good picture of the building, having a wide perspective, you have to place yourself in a small medium in front of you. It is also possible to do it if you are located just below the clock on the left. In our case, since this area is under construction, we prefer to place ourselves directly in the median.
6. Battery Park, one of the best photos of New York
One of the pleasant surprises we had on our trip to New York was the walk that took us, shortly before sunset to Battery Park, one of the lungs of the city that some of the best views of New Jersey with the Statue of Liberty in the background. We recommend approaching the American Merchant Mariners Memorial, from where you can take a picture overlooking the Statue of Liberty.
7. Times Square (day and night)
Times Square is the New York's most photographed place, be it day or night and there is no traveler traveling to New York that does not pass through here several times, at different times. We recommend that you spend a few hours, first thing in the morning, when there is practically no one and Times Square acquires a very special air and then in the afternoon-evening, when this area of the Big Apple, dresses up, highlighting the monumental illuminated neon signs, which accompany one of the liveliest environments in the city.
8. St. Patrick's Cathedral
The contrast of the Cathedral of Sant Patricio With the skyscrapers around it is impressive. To take the picture, with the dimensions of the cathedral, we recommend moving as far away as possible, in order to capture a complete perspective. 9. Central Park

We especially liked the ones we made from the shore of the Great Lake overlooking the skyscrapers of New York and the ones we faced in front of Wollman Rink.
10. Ferry to Staten Island
If there is something you can not miss in New York is the Ferry to Staten Island. It is free and will allow you to have one of the best views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. We recommend doing this tour a little before sunset to enjoy the views at that time of day and take the best photos with a good light, taking advantage of the return, when it starts to get dark, to see how it begins to illuminate Manhattan.

Although the best known tour lasts about 11-15 minutes, these allow you to enjoy one of the best views of Manhattan, especially if you are lucky (and the right weight) and you have to sit in the front, from where you have a unique perspective.
