Pushkar may be the place that best represents the spirit of the “shanti shanti”, or the “tranqui trunk” to understand us. Here we have stayed at the little hotel Mama Luna, which is a clear example of this way of life of peace and relaxation.
The first thing we found was an altar next to the reception, a place to pray and isolate yourself in your thoughts. Not surprisingly, Pushkar is a sacred city where spirituality can be felt with the fingertips. As you go up the stairs, the good vibes take hold of you, with the murals on the walls, the little plants, the decoration so colored ... and if in the end there is a welcome in Spanish it is already or more. Chinu (or Chino for friends) greeted us very kindly in his favorite place, the little terrace!

Here they also have the restaurant, with exquisite dishes such as malai kofta and a nutella pancake to suck your fingers! And if you are missing some Spanish dish you can choose potato omelette or gazpacho among others from the menu! In addition, from here there are good views of the city and the sacred lake.
The rooms are very good, spacious, with good windows where a lot of natural light comes in and with very comfortable beds. It is the perfect place to spend a few days of SHANTI SHANTI !!
