We cannot say that with Bratislava it was love at first sight, but we cannot say that it is a city at all interesting or ugly. The capital of Slovakia has its point, and well worth a visit, especially if you are touring the area of Budapest, Vienna and Prague, In this post and we will tell you the 20 best things to see and do in Bratislava:
1) Upload to Castle, no doubt the protagonist of Bratislava. If you want to know its history well (and also take the opportunity to discover the rest of the main corners of the city) we advise you to sign up for some of the tours and activities that tour the city.

2) Approach until San Miguel Gate, one of the 4 doors that, at one time, formed the fortress of the city (and the only one still standing).
3) Visit the Bratislava Cathedral, it is not at all the prettiest in Europe but hey ... neither is the poor ugly one!
4) Admire the Grassalkovicov Palace where the President of Slovakia is lucky to live. Come on, which is the white house of the country 🙂

5) Meet the 'UFO 'from Bratislava. No, don't expect a green alien! It is a UFO-shaped restaurant located on the New Bridge that crosses the Danube.
6) Approach until Blue church, which, as the name says, is painted a rather peculiar color for a church. It is located in Bezrucova 2.
7) Tour the center in search of rare statues like the man who comes out of a sewer to give an example, often scare.

8) Drink one beer half a liter good and cheap (less than € 2!). And this leads us to ...
9)… Party for Bratislava! The city has quite a nightlife (so if you are looking for a destination for your Erasmus you know).
10) Relax by sitting on a bench in the Main Square from the city.
11) Cross the San Miguel BridgeIt is not as charismatic as the Charles Bridge in Prague but offers a beautiful view of the historic center.
12) Go visit the Opera, even outside. And if you find an offer, why not attend a show?
13) Give yourself a loop by the main square market, especially if you have nephews or coworkers to whom to bring a memory.

14) Try some typical dish As the bryndzové halušky, some potato gnocchi covered with sheep cheese sauce.
15) Visit the house of the Good Shepherd, a yellow rococo house that houses a curious exhibition of old watches. It is located near the New Bridge.
16) A building that we found especially beautiful is the Old Town Hall, so if you like architecture we recommend you not to miss it.
17) Once here, a good idea is Climb the tower from which you get a beautiful panorama of Bratislava.
18) Take an excursion to the Devin Castle.
19) Go to Vienna, and is that the capital of Austria is only 60 km from Bratislava ... Are you going to miss it?
